Vault Auto is a private vehicle-brokerage service for serious buyers — operated under Lucid Dream Consulting LLC, a Washington-registered firm. We exist to make car buying feel like every other premium service in your life: someone competent handling it while you live your life.
Our story
Why we built this.
Buying a car in 2026 is broken. The dealer experience is exhausting. Online marketplaces are a firehose of mediocre listings. Private-party transactions feel like rolling dice. Anyone with discretionary income and a calendar full of more important things has the same complaint: there should be a better way.
Vault Auto is that better way. We do what a smart friend with industry knowledge and a free weekend would do for you — except we do it for everyone, full-time, with the tooling to scan thousands of listings, comp every candidate against market value, and screen out the obvious problems before you ever see them.
What you get is a curated shortlist, fair prices, real diligence, and a vehicle that arrives exactly the way you wanted it. What we get is a fee that's only earned when the deal actually works for you.
How we operate
Three principles we won't compromise on.
We work for the buyer, not the seller.
Our commission is paid by you. We have no kickback relationships with dealers, no incentive to push specific vehicles. The deal we recommend is the deal that works for you.
Quality over quantity.
We turn down requests that aren't a fit — wrong market, unrealistic budget, vehicles we can't responsibly source. We'd rather lose the fee than sell a buyer something that won't make them happy.
Personal accountability.
When you call us, you reach a person. When something goes wrong, we own it. We're a small operation built on trust, and we have no interest in scaling past the point where that breaks.
